ANUBIS

"Anubis symbolized the light that is hidden in darkness, he is the Guide to the secret mysteries, but also there guardian, He is the one able to travel at will through time and space and different dimensions and know his way safely back again. He is the patron of all those who travel in the darkness of the mind, looking for the Light and truth. The Ancient Egyptians believed that those who would like to know there secrets first had to prove themselves worthy and Anubis would often lead them into situations where they had to prove their fidelity and courage, qualities that he also symbolized. Anubis is called The Master of Secrets; The Keeper of The Mysteries; The Guardian of The Gods and The Guide of Souls."

Mystic Drums of the Nile - We will open our spiritual program of Egypt with a meditation on board a felucca on the Nile River. A Nubian drummer will join us and play the steady, monotonous and hypnotic beat of the Nile while we slowly drift down the great African river at sunset. Drumming for meditation has its roots in prehistoric times and we will use this simple technique to enter into a light meditative state of mind. Afterwards we will connect with the Jackal headed god Anubis, in a guided meditation conducted by Amber.

Twin Temples of Abu Simbel - Experience the magic and the mystery of the twin temples of Ramses II and Nefertari at Abu Simbel. The temples lay hidden beneath the sands of Nubia for centuries until they were discovered by explorers in the early 19th century and today they stand in isolated glory near the border of Sudan, once again serving as a sacred site of ancient Nubia.

Evening Meditation inside a Royal Tomb in the Valley of the Kings (Private Access) - We will visit the Valley of the Kings at night and descend into the shadowy chambers of a sacred tomb for a special private evening meditation. We will enter the strange silence of the tomb and gradually descend deep into the “forbidden” landscape of the excavated rock where the teachings of the 42 Negative Confessions really come alive. On the tomb walls are invocations and spells designed to guide us to the Hall of the Double Truth and here, within the living shrine of the pharaoh, within the profound solitude of his tomb, we will cut our karmic cords and leave our past behind. Equinox Meditation in the Hall of Amon-Ra & Sekhmet's Sanctuary at Karnak Temple (Private Access) - We will enter Karnak Temple at night and walk in silence to the Hall of Amen Ra where we will sit at the base of the giant stone pillars while Amber guides us into "The Rite of Purification". Then we take an unpaved road, off the beaten track, to the gate of an exquisite little temple that houses the sanctuary of the lioness-goddess Sekhmet. Here in a special ceremony we will meet the mysterious Sekhmet.

Walk of Silence at Luxor Temple - Luxor Temple is one of the grand constructions of ancient Egypt. Its builders were masters of sacred science, a discipline that was based on a complete and precise understanding of universal laws. And it was here at Luxor Temple that symbolist RA Schwaller de Lubicz developed his revolutionary theory that the temple conceal an ancient teaching about the metaphysical anatomy of man and that the temple was built according to the creation of man and his spiritual development and destiny. To put his teachings to a test we will shift our awareness to a place outside of ourselves while we wander like tiny creatures between the huge statues into the vastness of the temple with its skewed axis moving and floating around us. The moment we feel like we are inside a living, breathing being, that is when we have made contact with the universal principles that is said to rest within this amazing temple.

Camel Caravan and Sunset Meditation at Giza - Just before sunset we will mount our camel and ride into the desert to a site overlooking the pyramids. From here we can marvel at the sight of the pyramids being bathed in hues of gold, red and orange before proceeding with a silent meditation; allowing the vision before us to draw us inward and move us to reflection.

Quest For Eternity inside the Great Pyramid - We close our journey of Egypt with an unforgettable meditation inside the Great Pyramid. For most people this is a once-in-a-lifetime experience. We will ascend this sacred monument step by step, climbing up to the the Queens Chamber which is associated with Isis the archetypal principle of divine love. Inside this ancient chamber there are two mysterious shafts pointing into the heavens. The southern shaft is aligned with the star Sirius - a star that is associated with Isis and the northern shaft is aligned to the constellation Ursa Minor associated with Upuaut a Jackal-headed god known as the "Opener of the Ways". We will begin our meditation here, then we climb up some more steps to the infamous Kings Chamber where we will complete our two-hour meditation inside the Great Pyramid.

IMPORTANT - ABOUT EXCLUSIVE ACCESS: We will obtain special government permits to enter 3 key sites in Egypt - a Royal Tomb in the Valley of the Kings, Karnak Temple and the Great Pyramid. We will visit these sites outside public opening hours, which means that our group will have exclusive access to these amazing sites. This will allow us us to meditate and connect with these sacred places undisturbed by other tourists. However these visits are subject to change and subject to special permission granted by the Egyptian Government.
